I have been searching for a simple Chrome application that could enable me to save simple notes for content I use frequently, and that I could access from any of my computers. I have tried a few that were OK, but too complicated or not in sync between devices. I have finally found Scribble.

A Simple Note Application for Chrome: Scribble

In order to install “Scribble” you first need to have the Chrome Browser Installed on your computer and be logged in. Then, you have to click on the “Apps” button located at the top left of your browser in the Bookmark tool bar.

The page you see lists all your apps.

Click on the “Store” icon.

Type the word “Notes” in the search bar and it will show you what’s available.

As you can see in the image I have tried them all.

Install the third one, which is “Scribble – stickies on steroids”

The application will look like this.

When you click its icon it will open a new tab from where you can see your existing stickies and create new ones.

When you click on the header of the sticky note, it opens and you can update it, change the color, delete it or create a notification.

That’s all!

Simple to use and very useful.

Enjoy!
