Think of certain past events in your life and try to recall what combination of thoughts you often had, prior to a specific event happening. Try to find the link between your thoughts and the events. How many times did something happen in your life and you said to yourself: “I knew it was going to happen.” That’s the power of thought in action.
Your power of thought rules your behavior and attitude, and consequently your actions, your spirit, and the people around you. Your thoughts equal your life. This is a sign that it’s necessary to be very cautious with your thoughts, especially when expressing ideas which you regularly replicate.
Ideas are like tracks on a CD which you play on a CD player in your brain. What you play, is what you view with your internal eyes. What you visualize in your brain is what you think of and it is what you get. That’s the power of thought again.
Boost Your Power of Thought
The thoughts that you constantly think shape your life. Then, in order to change your life, you must change your thought process. It’s essential to change your thoughts. It’s like ejecting this old CD and inserting a new one that you will like better.
The new mental CD will sooner or later change your behavior, actions and attitude, and draw into your life the people, situations and events in relation to your thoughts. A one time thought is not strong enough to create a change, but if the same thought is repeated frequently, it eventually becomes stronger.
A specific thought that is routinely repeated gets printed in the subconscious mind, then from there it conveys upon your life and even your environment. The great thing about this process is that you do not need to strain or overwork yourself to make it happen. All you have to do is to choose a thought that you would like to come true, and start repeating it to benefit from the power of thought.
I am not saying that if you want to win the lottery you should repeat the thought of winning the lottery and it will happen. You can’t control this and it doesn’t work that way. I am saying that if you want to change something in your life for the better, direct your thoughts on it.
If for example you want to quit your job for another kind of work that you would prefer, going through the process of thought at first will bring you opportunities to find this new work you dream of. It will also give you the confidence to apply for that job and help you during the hiring interview as it will be no doubt in your mind that you will succeed.
The power of thought can help you and put you down. If your thinking is that you do not deserve a better situation that the one you have, nothing better will show-up. If you always think of the catastrophes that had happened in your life, more will happen.
