We are all at times discouraged of not seeing the results we expect as fast as we would want to. This may be valid for a business you want to develop, your efforts to lose weight, your tentatives to get a date or a sport performance you are trying to achieve…

As the expression says:

“Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win”

You may have heard it before, but where does it come from?

I believe that the origin of this expression “Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win” comes from Napoleon Hill’s citation:

A QUITTER NEVER WINS–AND–A WINNER NEVER QUITS. HILL, NAPOLEON (2009-12-16). HILL, NAPOLEON (2009-12-16). Think and Grow Rich (p. 106). White Dog Publishing. Kindle Edition. (p. 106). White Dog Publishing. Kindle Edition.

The expression was then rephrased later by Vince Lombardi who was an American football coach from 1959 to 1967: “Winners never quit and quitters never win.”

Obviously he read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, which was published in 1937. The principles in the book have been used by many coaches until now.

If you think the origin comes from another author, please let me know in the comments below.
