Nakhon Phanom:
Today is a special day for my parents in law and a 10 years old nephew who are flying for the first time of their lives. We are 6 persons to travel to Nakhon Phanom, Northeast Thailand: my wife and I, our daughter Christina, our parents and a nephew. That is also the first time for me to fly as a family.
This photo above was taken in DonMuang Airport in Bangkok this morning. We flew with Air Asia, the plane took off at 11:50 and was 1 hour and 20 minutes.
In this photo Christina is enjoying the flight. I still have in mind the trip to France 2 years ago when she was still very little, it was a nightmare…
At the Nakhon Phanom Airport, we took a minivan to our hotel located 15 kilometers away in the city. The Hotel is named 777 Hometel and we spent the afternoon inside trying to have Christina take her nap and wait for cooler hours.
Nakhon Phanom
Nakhon Phanom (Thai: นครพนม) is one of the north-eastern provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from south clockwise) Mukdahan, Sakon Nakhon and Bueng Kan. To the north-east it borders Khammouan of Laos.
I hope you enjoyed this post on Nakhon Phanom.
