Iraq war veteran
This piece of news kept my attention.
Not only this Iraq war veteran lost his arms during the war, but his legs.

I can’t imagine how life could be without arms and the terrible ordeal he has been through. We can only applaud the medical team for giving him new arms. The young man will have to spend 6 hours a day of physical therapy during several years before his nerves are completely regenerated so he can gain significant use of the arms.
“I feel like I’m getting a second chance to start over,” he said at a news conference. “I’m just looking forward to everything I would have wanted to do over the last four years.” Driving, swimming and hand cycling top his list, he added.
He lost his arms and legs in a roadside bomb attack in Iraq in 2009. “I hated having no arms,” Marrocco said. “I was all right with having no legs.”

How many more Iraq war veteran would need such surgery? We just hope that the US government will assist them in the way they deserve.
